Provided project management services, performed needs assessment to initiate transitioning to a potential new grants management system. Through survey and evaluation of staff requested requirements, the discovery led to identifying potential vendors. The tree vendors who matched the tailored requirements to the product capabilities were sent led a Requests for Proposal. The tailored responses that best match the needs of JROF will drive the decision to identify a new system for data migration and implementation.
Provided interim research analysis. Identified and codified scholarly publications, presentations and research papers funded by INET. INET continues to develop its grants management system, FLUXX, and underscores its mission by building a global community of new economic thinkers.
Directed the re-launch of FLUXX a new Grants Management System and implemented grant life cycle processes via system portal. Aligned operating processes to secure and fortify Foundation website, portal entry and social media. John Rex Endowment
Directed an operational assessment project considering various approaches to change management. Identified systems to be modified, addressed workflow and business processes, internal and external use of language, revising operating tools and possible investment in a new data management system relating to grants. The project objective was to identify cost effective solutions to serve all JRE stakeholders by incorporating efficiencies and improvements in the use of systems to serve measurable and observable outcomes.

The Peter G. Peterson Foundation is a private philanthropy that is committed to increase public awareness of the nature and urgency of key fiscal challenges threatening America's future and to accelerate action on them. Egan Consulting performed a needs assessment and evaluated gaps in grant management operations, social media presence and CRM integration. The project outcomes led to implementing corrective actions and process redesign in order to streamline and provide audit worthy data with integrity and research content for dissemination.
Cool Culture provides young children from diverse and low-income families access to more than 90 cultural institutions in NYC and provides services and events that tap into early education opportunities. Egan Consulting offered early stage approaches to Social Media strategy and continues to share and present information for ongoing implementation that overtime will build engagement, influence and visibility to augment Cool Culture's work.
Kansas Health Foundation
Egan Consulting provided management-consulting services to the Kansas Health Foundation (KHF) and collaborated with KHF professional staff in identifying many of the causes and the conditions leading to the need and articulation of a KHF Business Process Improvement analysis. The project conducted a review of operating processes and procedures and presented a long-term comprehensive strategic change management plan.
Asian American/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy AAPIP
Managed the development, implementation and management of an end-to-end grants administration solution that supports all aspects of AAPIP's Minnesota Community Engagement Fund. These efforts assisted the initial data management and operational launch as part of the National Gender and Equity Campaign supported by a $15 Million grant from the Ford Foundation.
The Getty Foundation
Served as Program Manager and led the foundation through a cost/benefit analysis for automating grant requests online. Application submissions are received from individuals as well as large insitutions as The Getty is a leader in funding the field of arts conservation in the U.S. and internationally.
Rosie's For All Kids Foundation
Served as Program Director for Rosie O'Donnell's public foundation providing grants to U.S. organizations with expertise is in Early Childhood Care and Education. Re-focused the foundation?s programmatic strategies, revitalized the grant-making operations as well as led development of new web presence. The new website implemented automated processes for grant eligibility and online application submission as well as providing refined marketing materials for grantees.
Managed the development of a knowledge management assessment of communications (internal and external) evaluating knowledge assets, such as contact management systems, and helped Innonet proceed with formal KM initiatives. Lead a market research project, set up and facilitated focus groups of grants managers and IT staff of philanthropic organizations who were interested in the area of program evaluation using web-based technology tools. Served as an interim Director of Technology Development to bridge a transition for Innonet to new technology leadership.
